We're at the corner of 15th & Broadway, between Broadway and Franklin.
Entrance is around the corner from the Payless Shoe Store and across the street from San Francisco Pizza.
BART:
Very close! Just over a block north (towards Berkeley) from the 12th St. BART Station.
Take the 14th St. exit stairs.
Bus:
Close to MANY bus lines including: 1, 1R, 51, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 18, 72, 72M, 72R, 651, 800, 801, 802, 805, 820, 840, 851.
Parking Tips:
- One-hour meters are available near WEAP.
- Two-hour meters can be found around 14th St & Franklin, and south of 14th St.
- There is a parking garage nearby, Downtown Merchants Parking, which is $1.25 per 1/2 hour, with a $12 maximum M-F and a $6 maximum Sat. Entrance is on Webster between 13th & 14th St. It's a 2-block walk to our office. Open 6:30am-8pm M-F, 8am-6pm Sat. Closed Sundays & Holidays.
- There are many other parking garages and lots within a five block radius from the WEAP office with varying daily and hourly rates.
Directions from San Francisco:
- Get on the Bay Bridge heading for Oakland.
- Take the 580 East Hayward Stockton freeway.
- Then take the 980 to 880 Downtown Oakland freeway.
- Take the 18th Street 14th Street exit. Once on the exit ramp, get in the left lane.
- Turn left at the 2nd traffic light onto 17th St., which is one-way.
- Get into a middle lane on 17th Street. Cross San Pablo Avenue, Telegraph Ave., and Broadway. After Broadway, get into the right lane.
- Turn right onto Webster St., which is one-way. Stay in the right lane.
- Turn right onto 15th St., which is one-way. Although you are still 2 blocks from WEAP, you may start looking for on-street metered parking.
- WEAP is in the Women's Atrium Building on the left (449 15th Street, Second Floor). If you haven't found parking by the time you come to WEAP, you will be forced to turn right onto Broadway. If that happens, just turn right at the next light onto 17th St. and go around the blocks again. See above for other parking options.

We realize many of you have busy schedules and may need to grab a quick bite before or after a meeting or class. Here are some places our staff like to go that are reasonably priced:
Serves Breakfast & Lunch Only
Little Bistro Corner of Webster & 15th (two blocks from office) A favorite among our staff who are vegetarians. Smoothies, sandwiches, soup & salad, cappuccinos, vegetarian fare. M-F 7:30am-4: 30pm, Sat 10-4:30pm 510/832-6232.
Off-Broadway Cafe On 15th St, across the street from our building entrance. Hot and cold sandwiches, entrees, grill. Great home fries. Greasy dive, but friendly service and convenient. 510/444-4734.
Lunch Only
Huynh (pronounced "hwyn") Vietnamese Cuisine On 15th between Franklin and Webster (one block from office). A STAFF FAVORITE. High emphasis on fresh ingredients. Tasty sauces. M-F 11-3pm. 510/832-5238.
Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
City Center Plaza Entrance on Broadway, between 13th & 14th St. provides a wide variety of cafes and restaurants including Mexican, juices & smoothies, bagels, pasta, grill, hot & cold sandwiches, fast foods. Note that most are closed for dinner.
Super Deal
Cam Huong (Vietnamese deli) On Webster between 9th & 10th Sts. (7 1/2 blocks from office). Fabulous Vietnamese barbeque chicken sandwiches for $2. It’s one of the best healthy bargain fast food places in the area. Vegetarian entrees available. Many entrees around $2.25-$2.50. Other entrees range from $1-$5.
